Investigation Procedures

Once contacted, case manager Tom Muller set up a phone interview to obtain initial information regarding your case.  A date will be set for a walkthrough to get first impressions, and baseline readings of electrical EMF (electro magnetic field) levels.  Activity will be logged from each space.  First recordings will also occur with the possibility of capturing evidence.   

Questions, and concerns will be addressed during this time.  At the conclusion of the walkthrough, a date for the investigation will be set.  

>Please note that investigations will occur either Friday or Saturday nights to accommodate the work schedule of HAPS team members.

Prior to the day of the investigation, our case manager will contact you to confirm the investigation.  Clients must confirm the investigation 48 hours prior to the investigation.  Most investigations begin at 6:30pm.  It takes approximately one hour for setup.  

HAPS requests the house to be vacant during investigations.  To provide the most accurate evidence HAPS must control any noise contamination from homeowners, children, pets etc. 

HAPS is committed in validating the accuracy of Paranormal Phenomenon captured. 

At the conclusion of the investigation, all data will be reviewed and evidence will be logged for both audio and video recordings.  Each device will have approximately 6-7 hours of data.  The average amount of evidence to review runs between 72 and 96 hours per person.  HAPS is dedicated to providing the most accurate evidence.  All data will be scrutinized to eliminate any false data provided to the client.  Turnaround time will be based on a case by case basis.  Tom Muller will provide updates, but clients are encouraged to reach out anytime for a status check.  Clients will be given a copy of all evidence captured from our investigations for your personal records.

Please be aware that paranormal investigations are not like what is shown on television, etc.  There are no guarantees evidence will be captured.  In some cases the activity may be minimal, or not at all.  More than one investigation may be necessary to provide clients with the validation they are seeking.  Paranormal phenomena does not happen because a team is investigating.  HAPS will conduct as many investigations as clients would like to try find answers for ever for as many times it takes.

HAPS understands the difficulties people experience when dealing with paranormal phenomena.  Validation and education are the cornerstones of HAPS, and all investigations will happen with respect for the clients, their homes, and to the potential spirits occupying the home.  HAPS will never use any techniques that will provoke activity.  Doing so may create a dangerous situation.
